At least eight people were injured when a person ran into a subway station in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, starting a massive evacuation. CNN reports that at least one person had to be treated for serious injuries, and at least one passenger had to be cut off. The man who did it reportedly did not have a weapon and was hit by the train. The station, which runs parallel to the JMZ line, is about a half mile from Brooklyn’s Coney Island, where safety concerns also recently prompted evacuations.
